Xávega

"Xávega" - 61 x 59 cm. Latex, acrylic, woodstrips and glue on fiberboard (unframed/ready to hang) 2026. Our apartment on Meia Praia, Lagos, Portugal, overlooks the ocean on a 4 kilometer beach. At night, when it's just the silent sea without the heavy waves, the bay becomes dotted with fishing boats at night...bobbing in the waves and hunting for squid and other sea creatures. If the moon is full, you can catch the tiny whitecaps glistening in the moonlight with the lights from the sparkling boats.
