Living as an immigrant in Portugal, because I hate the word "Expat." I am like any other person that leaves one place and starts over in a new place. It can be a cold and indifferent experience. What has made the difference for me is making friends. Connecting the bridge. The other immigrants that I have met here have the same feeling of wanting connection. Perhaps, we would all never meet in our home countries because there is nothing to force us together. We make our own reality and success.
